I recently received an Orange Seiko diver the SKX011 for my birthday (thank you to the best GF in the world aka @watchandgirl) the watch came on a generic black Seiko Rubber strap. I wore it on this strap for a few days but the strap was too big for my wrist and I needed something a little less “Diver” for the office, but it was also summer. So I needed a fun, summer, watch strap. Nothing too crazy as the dial is full orange with white markers.

Christopher Ward recently released a new Trident diver that featured a cool Cordura® and rubber hybrid waterproof strap with brushed buckle and quick-release pins. I do not think this was the inspiration for the Timex strap but the Christopher Ward strap is available for sale for $65 in 20mm and 22mm. I will most likely end up getting one for my SKX009 or SKX011.

The Timex strap provides a similar look for an extremely cheaper price.

I think this Timex Strap looks great on any orange dial diver such as the Seiko SKX011, and Seiko Samurai SRPB97/SRPC07.

So far I have been wearing the strap on the wrist for a few weeks and have not noticed any darkening of the orange silicone sides yet. The strap keepers are black silicone. The strap feels heavy and secure, with the leather underside making it very comfortable and soft.

I hope Timex produces similar straps in other colors ways, it is a super comfortable and subtle summer look.
