Did I sleep on the best affordable Salmon Dial watch drop? Baltic x Worn & Wound Colab

Salmon Dials are a rare dial often used by the likes of FP Journe, Patek Phillippe, and Alange Sohne. So it is always exciting when an affordable brand;

1) does a collaboration with a Watch site 

2) uses a design cue not very common in affordable watches

Baltic is a watch microbrand that sells watches from $360 – 650

Worn and Wound is a watch site, that publishes, news, reviews, has an online shop, and does a yearly “Windup Watch Fair” event that is free and open to the public and showcases micro watch brands.

I wish this would not have been such a limited release of 100 pieces per type. 

The three-hand HMS is ok, priced at $399, which I think is a little high, but of course limited pieces and rare color will demand a premium.

The Bi-Compax priced at $625 is what really caught my eye.

I think if these salmon dials had blued hands it would have been the ultimate affordable salmon dial watch. Lucky for my wallet, both sold out rather quickly.
